Pretty short on updates, spent my birthday weekend at Blair Atholl with After 8 Mince, the groupies, Yard of Ale, On the Wagon, Dalgety Bay Folk Club and some very hard working hotel staff.

Then a whizz up to the Highland Wildlife Park to see the red pandas, the wolverine, the capercaillie (finally) and the controversial Beauly to Denny pylon line being constructed alongside the A9.   Easter saw us walking round Loch Ore, then off to Aberdour beach with Sarah, Michaela and Daniel, then to Stirling to see Dad, and the best view from a supermarket cafe I have clapped eyes on, from Ben Lomond to Knockhill.  Finally Edinburgh’s Botanics with the Frasers and Cooks, with many brilliant*  questions from Callum and lovely smiles from Lily.  The camera was swung about mightily but in the interests of bandwidth and reader tolerance,  an eclectic selection lies below.
