Today turned out fine, clear and still, so we hopped over to Devilla Forest and found out a few things:

• the red squirrel trail was bereft of squirrels as such but has loads of fake ones
• there are many fungi
• I cannot shut up for more than 20 seconds
• Devilla means bad farm,  in the middle ages the land would not support any decent agriculture.
