7 deadly things

Current thing on Facebook is to tell folk 7 things they might not know about you. I don’t want to post that on FB particularly.

1. The first record I owned was "You Don't Have to be a Baby to Cry" by The Caravelles.

2. I am ridiculously intolerant of grammatical errors and misplaced apostrophes, and have to reign myself in from pointing them out, when to do so would be inappropriate. That really hurts.

3. I usually dream in black and white, it's a standout one when there are colours.

4. If I haven't seen you for a few decades then you won't know that I now wear glasses and a superbly effective digital hearing aid. I've been deaf on one side since I was little, due to measles, a perforated eardrum and a cyst on the auditory nerve, with attendant tinnitus. I constantly harp on about the lack of awareness re hearing impairment. People who do not suffer from this can be very dismissive as it's a hidden disability. I keep promising to make a badge which says "I'm deaf, not stupid".

5. All the highlighter pens in my desk at work have to be in colour order.

6. I sell coins on Ebay.

7. I like Little Mix. Well, I like the arrangements of their songs and the bass line on this one is ripper.
