Forgive the prosaic title post, I know you all like to struggle with the metaphysical concepts behind each one.

Controversy reigned after I posted the picture of maybe-Belle Buchan.  Pretty fittingly, since I and many others spent the whole of 2015 in The Land of I Don’t Know, we will never know, but for reasons of comparison I am posting below a picture which is most definitely one of Granny Stephen, Belle Buchan as was.  This picture appears elsewhere on BTW, but this time I have used a higher resolution, because I clearly didn’t know what I was doing last time.

The writing on the reverse wasn’t Granny’s – I reckon someone found it many years later and sent it on to her.
