Transport of delight

Insert train pun of choice here, The Flying Scotsman’s tour of the new Borders railway and the Fife Circle has been reinstated.  Somehow they found a gauger gadgie, and on a Saturday too.  I wouldn’t like to be at the “lessons learned” meeting for that one, but I shall happily try to capture its image or at least wave to the people driving it.

The Lyceum’s 50th anniversary season has been superb, we saw The Iliad yesterday.  Typically high body count for a Greek tragedy and complicated politics, Achilles in particular was a hugely unsympathetic character, most intriguing.  We have  to move our seats next season, outrage, but we shall deal with it.

Since  I am writing this on the iPad, some pictures below which have been captured from social media there on.
