We went to the Botanic Lights installation last night, in Edinburgh, no doubt Paul’s camera will have been the winner in tricky lighting conditions, and do take lots of warm clothes, including gloves, if you are going yourselves.  We enjoyed this very much and it was grand to see so many children there.   Last year our session was binned due to high winds, and in 2014 verily it did rain mightily, so having only the threat of frostbite  this year was a plus.

There were many favourite points to stop and watch, and indeed listen, the beech hedge piano of light, the Chinese Garden and the individual giants showcased for their splendour are but a few.
