It’s difficult to know where to begin when posting, either there’s so much going on that nothing short of a 100,000 word dissertation will do, or there’s ……………nothing, tumbleweed, the sound of one hand clapping, a tree falling in the forest when no-one listens and that darn cat in the box.<\/p>\n
It is a truth universally acknowledged that there is nothing as boring as other people’s dreams but I shall tell you anyway, that I had the most detailed and complex dream of ever this morning, involving people who had to turn my room into an art space, with intricately carved wooden trolls which were replete with hidden drawers and puzzles.\u00a0 I wish I could replicate the collage made from ripped up pages of The Hootsmon and show you the dinky wee miniatures of champagne that the staff of the residential college were handing out to distract our attention from the fact that the reception desk PC was running on Windows 3.1 and consequently could not fire up.\u00a0 There was so much more but ask me the next time I see you.\u00a0 Or don’t.<\/p>\n
This morning the sun is shining, the curtains are closed here but the light is hitting a convex lens and pasting a perfect miniature image of the window on the wall behind. \u00a0For some reason the camera won’t focus on it up close, so here’s a not very good picture to show you what I mean.\u00a0 It just looks so delicate and ethereal that it seemed a good idea to try to capture it, maybe not so great in realisation!\u00a0\u00a0 Please do look at it though, or pretend to, since it took me ten fraught and\u00a0 sweary minutes to insert it on this page.\u00a0\u00a0 Seems a single picture and a gallery of Callum are mutually exclusive.<\/p>\n
Last weekend we went to see Dad and managed to arrive at the same time as Fiona and Callum, so an expedition to the playpark was the order of the day.\u00a0 If you are feeling glum, the smile on a wee one’s face as he slides down the big chute that he’s not supposed to be on will certainly lift your spirits.<\/p>\n\n
