So. Yes.<\/p>\n

Anyone who knows me and my family will know what’s going on just now.<\/p>\n

But, onto other news.<\/p>\n

Mincers are in the production room<\/a>,\u00a0 finalising the tracks and just amazed at the capabilities of the producer, Michael. \u00a0 Thanks are also due to Steve and Audrey, with everything happening in their world they make sure that I am picked up and set down, where I need to be.<\/p>\n

And Paul takes me to Loch Leven, so that he can have a bike ride and I may totter amongst the bird hides.\u00a0\u00a0 Last weekend I saw a hen harrier there; I haven’t seen one since Sherry & I toured Islay with mum and dad in 1979, on a bird watching spree.\u00a0 We were all in a caravan, based in Port Wemyss, a suburb of Portnahaven.\u00a0 (That’s a wee joke, there are about five houses in Portnahaven.) \u00a0 Anyway, I was reading out loud a guide which instructed us to follow a set route and look out for an HH, and just as we turned the corner, there it was, sitting on the fence.<\/p>\n

And as I was listening to an Annie Lennox CD <\/a>earlier tonight, I recalled this poem, by WC Williams.<\/p>\n

Carrying a bunch of marigolds<\/p>\n

in an old newspaper: She carries them upright,<\/p>\n

bareheaded,<\/p>\n

the bulk<\/p>\n

of her thighs<\/p>\n

causing her to waddle<\/p>\n

as she walks,<\/p>\n

looking into<\/p>\n

the store window which she passes<\/p>\n

on her way.<\/p>\n

What is she,<\/p>\n

but an ambassador<\/p>\n

from another world,<\/p>\n

A world of pretty marigolds,<\/p>\n

of two shades,<\/p>\n

which she announces.<\/p>\n

Not knowing what she does,<\/p>\n

other<\/p>\n

than walk the streets<\/p>\n

Holding the flowers upright<\/p>\n

as a torch<\/p>\n

so early in the morning<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
