Yesterday was a fine day, felt like the first sunny day in ages and it was a welcome contrast to last weekend.\u00a0\u00a0 Having signed up for a fridge delivery \u201cany time between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.\u201d\u00a0 we were somewhat surprised, yet delighted, to receive a phone call at 7 a.m. super spottum, announcing, \u201cWir ootside yir front door,\u201d\u00a0 and presently two very helpful chaps delivered the new item which hopefully will not smell like the old one and will also not disgorge itself of Amazonian tides of water every time I bump the defrost button by mistake.\u00a0 Gentle readers<\/a>, the new one has no icebox.\u00a0 This may yet turn out to be a life style change too far, only time will tell.<\/p>\n

With our reclaimed time hanging heavy in our pockets, we of course did the only sensible thing, and finally watched the last episode of Breaking Bad.<\/p>\n

After that we had to seek normality, and ended up in Holyrood Park, along with, it seems, half of Edinburgh.<\/p>\n
