Here’s a thing, and you might want to finish your breakfast first.<\/p>\n

I make it my business to visit and evaluate ladies’ loos the world over.\u00a0 Current most interesting –\u00a0 the ones in the St. Petersburg food market.\u00a0 Tip topper most, our own, with calming colour scheme, decent selection of reading material,\u00a0 digital radio*, Ecover soap and plenty loo roll.<\/p>\n

I have noticed of late that when I visit those loos with multiple cubicles,\u00a0 and select the one that looks least repulsive and most likely to have a functioning lock,\u00a0 then the person behind me immediately picks the one next door, even if all the others are empty.<\/em><\/p>\n

If I am behind someone and there is a plethora of choices, then, whilst factoring in the show stoppers above, I move as far away as possible.\u00a0 Think on, people.<\/p>\n

Anyway, speaking of breakfast, I am happily munching on lovely blueberries which remind me of this picture from our favourite childhood story book.\u00a0 It’s called “A Day in Fairyland”, written by Sigrid Rahmas and illustrated by Anna Mae Seagren.<\/p>\n

Here are some pictures from the Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh, yesterday.\u00a0 I found it quite difficult to achieve accurate colours, clearly I need to work on the manual settings.\u00a0 The Hibiscus flower was about 8 inches in diameter, and the bird was in the main pond.\u00a0 There was a happy father and son, happily shouting\u00a0 “Hello Mr Duck!” at her and I chose not to take issue with this, since they were happy.<\/p>\n

*Nephew Daniel was horrified to find that we have a radio in the bathroom.\u00a0 I had to tell him the truth, which is that I only put it there to stop him asking me why I have a plant in the bath. **<\/p>\n

**not so, I have a radio in every\u00a0 bathroom.\u00a0 Mwa ha ha.<\/p>\n
