Played our first ever gig in the Bay Inn last night, I had never actually been upstairs to the function suite before but it was just about right in size, and at least we gave the bar staff something to do. \u00a0 We raised \u00a3400 for charity with ticket sales, raffle and donations,\u00a0 so thank you to everyone who came along and contributed towards that.\u00a0 It was also a very good night for After 8 Mince, a few gaffes and blips here and there but the thing is always to keep going.\u00a0 We have been working hard on our spontaneous banter, and that seemed to make a big difference.\u00a0 Paul took loads of photos but I have not been brave enough to look at them yet, it’s hard to control your double chin when you’re hitting top E.\u00a0 Thanks also to the ladies of the band for all their hard work on the night.<\/p>\n
On to other things though, there is a new series of Sarah Jane Smith starting on 11th October 17:15, but it’s not even on BBC1, it’s on CBBC.\u00a0 What <\/em>is going on?
