Windy Miller

A rare day out to RSPB Loch Leven or Vane Farm as it’s known in our house.   Don’t ask me how I prised these shots from my camera, unless you want a three hour rant about SD cards and readers.  Very windy there yesterday, birds mostly in hiding, unlike the rooks and magpies who are squabbling over the bird feeders outside the window, as I write.

So the tally was

Heron, carrion crow, coot, hieland coo, hare, lesser spotted woodpecker, greenfinch, goldfinch, chaffinch, tree sparrow, house sparrow, lesser black backed gull, black headed gull, mallard, whooper swan, bumble bees and 120+ curlew.
