Enduring some antics on behalf of the PC, erstwhile abode of the photo archive.  The in house tech team has marshalled all his resources and performed miracles in restoring a semblance of normality, at a particularly trying time work wise for both of us, so yet again huge respect is due. Updating BTW on the ancillary business continuity go to default work station option (the iPad).

What to say?  Little news to report, chipping away at a rather large edifice just now but sometimes it’s too daunting to look at the bigger picture, so am focusing on the wee bit right in front of me.

In the meantime I am reading poems by Kathleen Jamie, and relishing any opportunity to be out and about at the weekend. We so enjoyed our trip to Aviemore, RSPB Loch Garten was replete with ospreys and the beautiful Loch Mallachie provided us with a crested tit or two.  Two very seasoned bird watchers assured us that a crossbill and a spotted flycatcher were right in front of us but try as we might, we couldn’t pick them out. Next time!  Sunday was a special children’s day at the reserve, some VIP guests were in attendance. I would have had my face painted if the queue hadn’t been out the door.  Oh and there are silent toilets …..
