{"id":4419,"date":"2020-07-09T13:05:41","date_gmt":"2020-07-09T13:05:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/banthewasp.com\/?p=4419"},"modified":"2020-07-09T13:05:41","modified_gmt":"2020-07-09T13:05:41","slug":"fig-for-a-jig","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/banthewasp.com\/?p=4419","title":{"rendered":"Fig for a jig"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Finding myself on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lakeland.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lakeland<\/a> page and seriously considering an egg coddler,\u00a0 I remembered that it is possible to use this interweb thingy to post as well as to shop.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m surprised that I haven&#8217;t been keeping a lockdown diary.\u00a0 To be fair, 100+ entries of &#8220;got up, didn&#8217;t go out, tried to sort my hair,\u00a0 went to bed&#8221; would eventually pall, but it might have been an interesting experiment to document the change of attitude as the days stretch on.\u00a0 But, as I have no refreshingly cool or mordantly witty statement to make on the whole pandemic and the various reactions of countries to this,\u00a0 I haven&#8217;t really thought of much to write.\u00a0 If best selling <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Beathhigh\/status\/1280941823133958153\/photo\/1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">authors<\/a> are only raising their heads above the parapet to show their latest jigsaws,\u00a0 then I don&#8217;t feel too guilty.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Finding myself on the Lakeland page and seriously considering an egg coddler,\u00a0 I remembered that it is possible to use this interweb thingy to post as well as to shop.
