Today we attended the Queen’s Garden Party at Holyrood Palace in Edinburgh.

It was quite an occasion, we were happily people watching whilst enjoying our tea, sandwiches and cakes.  Couldn’t see too much, due to the vast crowds and occasional rude manners (or lack of entirely) on behalf of the guests.  But some guests were kind enough to allow us to share their tables and seats,  whilst others turned out to be chums we already knew.  I did manage to see Her Majesty, suitably attired for a Scottish event in white and blue, also Prince Philip and Prince Edward.

Dad and Aunty Net were just delighted to have been invited.
