Happy Christmas/Boxing Day/Yuletide all.
Been all over Central Scotland to family, and of course those further away are very much in our thoughts.
We were supposed to share Christmas Day with the Cooks and Frasers, but poor Callum has got chicken pox just now and we all felt it best to give him space and time to get better, while not exposing the older members of the extended family to the virus. Of course this meant tears in the utility room/vestibule depending on which sister you are. Never mind, he’s blissfully unaware of the trauma involved and may he be right back to his normal cheeky wee self as soon as possible. We had Elspeth, Colin and Emma over on Christmas Eve though, which was lovely.
Dad, Aunty Net, Paul and I went across to see Ali, Les, Nick and Mary on the day and had a beautiful meal. On Boxing Day we were invited to lunch at the Humphreys’ where we admired Daniel and Michaela’s gifts, and met the newest chameleon, Rango. Pete lent Paul enough PC games to keep him out of mischief for the next six months, err, thanks again bro in law!
Oh, and we also met Aunty Net’s esteemed guest Cleo the cat, a Burmese cross. It ill behoves one to reveal a lady’s age, but she is very active for one who is not in the first flush of kittenhood.
