Been very entwined in various activities.

But I did find time to write to the Head of Radio, BBC Scotland, about the appallingly ridiculous proposed move to bin the Saturday morning Janice Forsyth show.   This programme, if you have not ever listened to it, is the mainstay of a Scottish Saturday,  Janice plays some rocking tunes and demonstrates her commensurate interviewing technique with the great and good (some not so good, even better), and to ditch this in favour of  “more news and sport” (it says here) is a pure keech decision.   Protests available on Twitterthing and Facethemusicbook.

Have received a most gracious reply from Jeff Zycinski, aforementioned Head of Radio*, they are not going to change to their minds but I am ever so slightly mollified by that fact that he took the time to write back.  Mind you, his secretary cannae  use spell checker.
