You will probably already have dissed this as yesterday’s chip wrapper, but according to The Sun – and who would doubt its veracity?  – none other than Jonny Depp is to star in the latest film version of Dr Who.

Paul has already stated his demands re this farrago.  JD has to transfigure into the Doc from Paul Mc Gann, and then morph into Christopher Eccleston at the end.

That will satisfy the continuity freaks amongst us all.  Thank you.
