I thought they had all been lost.  This was my all time favourite Watch With Mother programme when I was wee.  Monday Picturebook, Tuesday Andy Pandy , Wednesday Bill & Ben, Thursday Picturebook again and Friday The Woodentops.   Picture book had the 3 Jolly Jack Tars, and Busy Lizzie, who had a magic daisy on her dress that gave her three wishes a day.   (As I recall she went on to have her own show).  It also featured Sausage the dachshund, who wore a different coat every week, and could speak a bit.  So you see, Pixar, it’s been done before!

Anyway, have a look at this clip, and if you can keep a straight face when Spotty Dog, my first love, the hero of the hour and a pivotal influence on my pre-school awareness, starts singing, then you simply do not deserve this golden nugget of the early 60s.
