Currently up north for a mini holiday, as things have pretty been busy in Château Holmes of late.  I would not normally post when out of the house since it’s a bit of an invitation to anyone of our chums who may be a professional house breaker, but we’re testing the functionality.

So, this is the very first ever post on BTW which is Home Thoughts from A Broad!!!!!!!!!!!!  Balti says Hi.  What that means, is that I am posting remotely, using Paul’s laptop and 3G dongle, whilst enjoying the view of Loch Rannoch and the gentle witty banter of young  foreign children going hyperactive in the corridor, having just been introduced to Irn Bru.

Tomorrow we may be able to see Schiehallion, it’s across the road but currently obscured by cloud and rain.  Mist and fog are rolling across the hillside, rain is chuntering down the gutters and I’m about to change for dinner.  It’s brill.
