Losing it

It’s been a while.  Feels as if the world, or at least my version of it, has tilted on its axis somewhat, I’m finding areas of it to be, well, interesting, shall we say.  Less anon.

But I have failed to comment on so much, especially the Christening and family party for young Callum Cook.  All his nearest relatives were invited to attend the service at Liberton Kirk, followed by a buffet at Grandad Grant’s house.  It was a typical Scottish spring day, with scampering clouds, intermittent rain showers and bursts of glorious sunshine, tempered by gales.  We met up with folk we had not seen since Kerry and Ross’s wedding (a year ago last weekend!).   Grandad Colin has curated an excellent collection of photos from all the submissions.  See me for details.

Last weekend we saw Dunsinane at the Lyceum, it was a most enjoyable production, multi -layered, humourous, thought provoking and sad.   Shame you can’t see it now, cos it’s finished.

Big birds in the garden are still stealing most of the food but the wee ones seem to care not a jot.  They are certainly not as het up as I am re the issue at large.

Come and say hello; we’ll be at the gala stand for DB Astro this Saturday.  Relying on the Puddledub BBQ to divvy up a sandwich at 12 noon prompt.  Otherwise I may starve.

It’s been a while
Since I could look at myself straight
